SUPPORT GROUP INFORMATION
No More Silence Companions
Are you not comfortable with the traditional style support groups and want to try something a little different? Then look no further, No More Silence Companions is doing just that something different!!! See below for more details!!!
We meet Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8pm.
Our set up is easy we have a space set up for the traditional style for those that are looking for that, one room set up for a mermorial tribute area (we have faces banners, say their name banner, angels for writing about your loved one and battery operated candles to light in their memory) one room set as a quiet room in case you need a minute alone or need a one on one with one of the leaders and finally an open space area that has refreshments, some games, puzzles and is set for you to just chat with others either over a beverage a quick game or while doing a puzzle, etc. We feel this new approach can accommodate all suicide loss survivors looking for some form of support.
Also, one Wednesday per month we will do an outing with the group to many different places: bowling, movies, dinner, axe throwing, in nice weather maybe a nice walk and coffee at a park. This is a sign up only offering and the sign up sheet will be at the weekly No More Silence Companions Group.
